Is this the same certificate I would get from an in-classroom course?
Our certification is nationally recognized and is comparable to the training given to you in classroom. Students can print out their own certificates after completing the course or request us to send them on. State acceptance of our certification varies, so it is important to check your state laws before purchasing the course.
How do I take the Quizzes/Exams?
The quizzes and exams can be taken from the comfort of your own computer. Students just need to log on to their purchasing site to begin the lessons. The software will grade the quizzes for you and show you your results on the screen. You need to go through all of the lessons, practice exams, chapter exams, and final test to complete the course requirements. This insures that you gain the full knowledge of the course and complete state time requirements for training. Your scores are also recorded in an online database.
What if I fail the test, do I have to pay to take the course again?
Our system allows you to retake the test as many times as you need to pass the course. As with many of the other courses we offer, we do not charge an additional fee to go back and retake the test. If required to take a state exam, you are encouraged to look back over the material as many times as needed to pass the exam.
What if I don't finish the course right away?
The course was set up so that students can work at their own pace, allowing for students to stop work one day and come back the next. You can start and stop the course as many times as needed, however if you do not come back to the course for several months it may be necessary to reset your password to re-enter the course. Students are encouraged to not work straight through the course immediately, taking periodic breaks is healthy and can promote more long term retention of lessons.
What if the course does not work?
There is no need to panic if your course isn't working right away. Refresh your page or try restarting your browser and re-logging into the site. If necessary try a different browser like Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, etc. If your problems persist, we have live support 12 hours a day, and 8 hours on Saturdays, to support any problems you have.
What if I am not allowed to print my certificate?
Look through your course to insure that you have taken all chapter quizzes and gone through every lesson. This is often the case when a certificate won't print. Students do not have to retake the final exam if they need to go back and take a missing quiz/lesson.
